Preachers Stilettos
Saturday Night Sermon

Label: Tear It Up Records

The Peachers, a God given name, but which God? They preach the rock'n'roll gospel. Carried by Father Rons' haunting drumbeats, the blessed guitarplaying of Brother Jake and his own fingersplitting plucking on the upright bass, Brother P. Brings the message of salvation.
From soulful and restrained, like an opening prayer to exhaulted and euforic like the manifestation of The Holy Ghost. In 4 songs The Preachers take you by the hand into the world of roots rock 'n' roll which sound like Ennio Morricone on LSD and The Reverend Horton Heat in their best days. The Stilettos have taken their rock'n'roll to the stage at home and abroad, stating that God is the personification of that which man wishes to be the truth.
On Saturday Night Sermon they re-write the New Testament in 5 songs. No time to rest, Judgement Day is coming.
Recorded during one of their many gigs in 2005, including 3 new, never released songs. Short and pointed, but always with an ear for melody, courtesy of 'The Master On The Telecaster' Drs. Hook and Ned Harris' wailing mouth harp.
Imagine a threesome of The Stooges with The Rolling Stones (Mick Taylor years) and The Ramones.
